Flight NP1 - "Magic Carpet" Helicopter Ride
Flight time - Approximately 12 minutes.
Anticipation, apprehension, excitement, delight - experience all these emotions with the thrill of helicopter flight. Huge fun!!
This ride leaves from our New Plymouth (Urenui) base and takes you on a exhilarating ride from the coast over virgin native forest and near vertical Papa country, with a ridge landing and a river bed landing, because landing and taking off is the most fun! A must for the kids! Two landings. Allow 20 minutes.

Flight NP2 - White Cliffs Beach
Flight time - Approximately 25 minutes.
A superb flight along the North Taranaki ocean coast to the spectacular White Cliffs. Fly along the stunning beach and soar with the gulls!
Hover over the cliffs with views over the Pukearuhe Historic Reserve and view the historic fortified Pa sites.
At low tide we can land on the beach, go for a walk and visit an old stock Tunnel that was carved through the sandstone cliffs over a century ago. One stop off. Allow 1 hour.

Flight NP3 - Three Sisters
Flight time - Approximately 35 minutes.
Fly to the famous Three Sisters rock formation at the mouth of the Tongaporutu river and land at the Tongaporutu Whitecliffs Station.
At the turn of the century there were in fact four Sisters but the sea has gradually eroded one completely away.
There is yet another rock formation next to the Sisters known as 'Elephant Rock' and it sure does look like an elephant! On a good day, you can get spectacular photos of the formations including the White Cliffs of North Taranaki.

The 2518-metre-high mountain is one of the most symmetrical volcanic cones in the world. A secondary cone, Fanthams Peak (1966 m), is on the south side.
Mt Taranaki (aka Mt Egmont) in geological terms is young, having commenced activity approximately 135,000 years ago. The most recent volcanic activity was the production of a lava dome in the crater and its collapse down the side of the mountain in the 1850s or 1860s.

Flight NP5 - Jurassic Waterfall Adventure Tour
Flight time - Approximately 50 minutes.
A real expedition and our all time favourite trip! Fly along the Taranaki coastline to the mouth of the Tongaparutu river, travelling up the Hutawai wetland which is the longest coastal wetland in the North Island.
We land the helicopter at the base of the Matapeka Falls and there’s time for a short walk or even a swim if the weather’s good. Why not take a picnic or simply enjoy the tranquility.

The rocks at the base of the falls contain ancient fossils which are truly amazing.

Just a quick note to thank you for an awesome trip last Wednesday night to Jurrasic Falls. Hayden gave us a fantastic, adrenalin filled trip that left our 2 boys yelling in excitement and wanting to go again. It was better than I had anticipated and was a lot more than just a scenic flight. Chris was excellant in our phone calls prior to the flight and nothing was too much trouble, Your team arranged at very short notice to bring the flight forward a day because the weather was doubtful on the day planned. Thank you for a memorable evening that we will tell everyone about.
I just wanted to let you know that the ride Garth took us on up to Jurassic falls was out of this world, we were just blown away by the whole experience. I have been telling everyone at work about it and all the neighbours so I am sure you will get more enquiries in the near future. My mum and dad had never experienced anything like it, what a cool 81st birthday present. Please thank Garth for me, he went out of his way to be kind and accommodating. Flight NP6 - Mokau River Tour
Flight time - Approximately 70 minutes.
Includes the Jurassic Waterfall Adventure Tour shown above but then carries on to the historic Mangatoi Station.
On arrival, the pilot will take you on a tour of the abandoned woolshed, village and coalmines. This place just breathes history! Pack a picnic lunch and the pilot will boil the billy!
Mangatoi is on the Mokau river and is a great place to kick back and relax miles from anywhere.
Mangatoi Stations runs a herd of 400 Angus cattle on the old sheep station and a apiary harvesting Manuka honey.
